Confession #16
I stole my grandmother's jewelry and sold it
When my grandmother died, she left some valuable jewelry to the family. I was supposed to help organize her things. I took several expensive pieces and sold them to pay off my gambling debts. The family thinks the jewelry was lost or stolen during the chaos after her death. My mother still cries about the missing pieces sometimes. I still have one ring that I couldn't bring myself to sell. I wear it on bad days. The guilt is overwhelming but I don't know how to confess without destroying what's left of the family.
