My parents paid for a degree I never finished
My parents paid for my entire college education. They think I graduated with honors two years ago. In reality I dropped out in my second year because I was failing and depressed. I make fake graduation photos and transcripts every year and send them. They tell everyone how proud they are. I work a low-paying job and live paycheck to paycheck. The lies have gone on for so long that I don't know how to tell them the truth. They sacrificed a lot for my education. I feel like I betrayed them completely.
