I stole my roommate's identity for credit cards
My roommate left her wallet on the table one day. I took photos of her ID and credit cards. Over the next 8 months I opened several credit cards in her name and maxed them out on shopping and trips. She has terrible credit now and keeps getting calls from collection agencies. She has no idea it was me. We still live together and she vents to me about it. I feel like a complete criminal. The money is long gone and I don't know how to fix her credit without confessing. I'm terrified of what will happen if she ever finds out.
