I faked being sick to skip my best friend's wedding
My best friend was getting married and I really didn't want to go. I was seeing someone new and wanted to spend the weekend with him instead. So two days before the wedding I told her I had severe food poisoning and couldn't travel. She was so understanding and even sent me photos from the wedding. I was actually at a music festival having the time of my life. She still messages me asking how I'm feeling months later. I feel like the worst friend. She has no idea I chose a guy over her special day.
