I faked my entire resume and got the job
I was struggling to find work so I completely made up my degree and previous job experience on my resume. I even created fake references with my friends. I got called for an interview at a big company and somehow nailed it. They offered me a senior position with a great salary. I've been working here for 8 months now and everyone thinks I'm really talented. But last week my manager mentioned they're doing a full background verification for all employees. Every day I come to work I feel like I'm going to have a panic attack. I don't actually know half the things they think I know. If they find out, I'll be fired instantly and probably blacklisted. The money is good but the stress is destroying my mental health. I can't sleep properly anymore.
