I crashed my car and blamed my little brother
When I was 19 I got drunk at a party and crashed my dad's car into a tree. My 15-year-old brother was in the passenger seat. I was scared of losing my license so I told the police he was driving. My parents believed me. He got in huge trouble and was grounded for months. He never corrected the story because he didn't want me to get in worse trouble. To this day my parents still bring it up sometimes as an example of how reckless he was as a teenager. I never admitted the truth. He still doesn't talk about that night.
