I lied about having cancer for sympathy
I told my friends and family that I had cancer last year. I shaved my head, posted updates, and even started a GoFundMe. People raised over 15,000 dollars for my 'treatment'. I used the money for a trip and new clothes. I'm perfectly healthy. People still message me asking how I'm doing in remission. The lie worked too well. Now I'm stuck. If I tell the truth I'll lose everyone and probably face legal consequences for the money. The guilt is destroying me but I don't know how to come clean.
