I have been stealing small things from every job I've had
At every job I've had I've stolen small things — pens, staplers, snacks, printer paper, even small electronics. I have a whole drawer at home full of office supplies I've taken over the years. I feel a rush every time I take something. No one has ever caught me. I know it's wrong but I can't seem to stop. It's become a habit. I feel like a kleptomaniac. The guilt is there but the thrill is stronger. I'm scared one day I'll take something too big and get caught. I don't know why I do this.
