I took credit for my colleague's work
My teammate spent months working on a huge project. Right before the presentation to the directors I took all her slides and data and presented it as my own work. The bosses loved it. I got a promotion and a big bonus. She was devastated and ended up quitting the company three months later because she felt undervalued. Last week I saw her posting on LinkedIn that she's still looking for work. I feel terrible every single day. I keep thinking about how I stole her future. She was really talented and I took everything from her for my own gain. The promotion doesn't feel good anymore.
