I got my friend fired so I could take his job
My friend and I worked at the same company. When a promotion opened up I reported him for something minor that we both did. He got fired and I applied for his position the same week. I got the job. He still texts me sometimes asking if there are any openings. I act supportive but I took his job on purpose. He has no idea I was the one who got him fired. The guilt is bad but the higher salary and title feel good. I try not to think about it too much.
