I let my friend take the blame for my DUI
I was driving drunk one night with my friend in the car. I hit another car and fled the scene. When the police came I convinced my friend to say he was driving. He had a previous record so he got charged. I paid for his lawyer but he still lost his job and has a criminal record now. He never told anyone the truth. I still see him sometimes and he acts like it was his fault. The guilt is terrible. He took the fall for me and his life changed forever. I got away completely free. I don't deserve his loyalty.
