I stole my dad's pain medication for years
My dad has chronic pain and gets strong medication. For the last 3 years I've been stealing pills from his bottle when I visit. He started noticing they were running out faster and thought the pharmacy was making mistakes. I use them to relax and sleep. He still has pain but now has to take less because of me. I feel like the worst daughter. He trusts me completely and I betray him every time I visit. The addiction is strong but the guilt is getting worse. I don't know how to stop.
